Material & construction

Frame: Aluminium alloy 6063-T5/T6 extrusions with transom. Leaf: aluminium, 6 mm clear toughened safety glass above mid-rail, ACP below. Fanlight: fixed aluminium Z-blade louvre with insect mesh.

Specification

System: aluminium door stiles & rails 45 mm deep, wide stiles ~100 mm, mid/kick rail; 44.5 × 101.6 mm (1¾" × 4") frame; wall 1.6–2.0 mm. Glazing: 6 mm clear toughened safety glass. Fanlight: fixed aluminium weather louvre 45°, insect mesh behind. Finish: polyester powder coat 60–80 µm (black, charcoal grey, bronze, white) or silver anodised.

3 heavy-duty butt hinges per leaf (4 if leaf > 2100 mm); mortice lock with euro cylinder + 3 keys; lever handle set; floor door stop; flush bolts top & bottom on inactive leaf (double doors); EPDM gaskets; brush or drop-down threshold seal; aluminium threshold plate; frame anchors at ≤ 600 mm; packers; silicone sealant; door closer optional.
